Uploading some examples of your work is a great way to grab the attention of employers and add some visual interest to your bio. Work examples also give potential employers a quick snapshot of everything you're capable of.
Upload each project as a separate work example with its own image and description. To upload an example, click the yellow upload button.
Make sure you give an accurate and detailed description of the project, as this info will be sent to your client for verification when you verify your work examples.
The client name is the name of the person you did the work for. If you did the work for a company, then enter the name of the person you liaised with.
What sort of images should I upload?
- Upload landscape images if possible as they look better on your Yudoozy profile.
- Screenshots of a project are a good option, for instance, developers could upload a screenshot of a program or website they developed.
- If there is no way to get a screenshot, you could upload the logo of a client - many marketers and data analysts do this.
- Make sure your image gives a good indication of the project.
What could I include in the description?
- The ultimate goal or aim you worked towards with the project.
- Your key responsibilities.
- A quick description of the project or brief.
- Specific skills you used e.g. SEO, Java, Adobe CC, WordPress.
- Specific tasks you undertook such as research, analysis, front end development, branding.
Now, verify your work examples
Employers have told us that when they look for a freelancer, anything that gives a freelancer credibility like work experience, personal references or validation, is something they really pay attention to.
To further show the quality of you and your work, you can verify your individual work examples on Yudoozy.
This is a simple process where we send a quick email to your client/employer to verify the work you did for them. All they have to do is click "validate" to confirm the details of the project.
On your profile, click on each of your work examples to verify them.
Enter the email address of the client you did the work for and click verify.
Once your client has verified your work, a green thumbs up will be added to the work example on your profile. A thumbs up will also appear under your name in the search listings to show employers that your work examples have been verified.
