One thing we do here at Yudoozy is vet freelancers, it's just a little something we like to do so you, the employer, know you're working with top-quality freelancers.
We do a few things for vetting, but of course, we start out with a little portfolio and LinkedIn snooping - we know you do too!
We conduct personal reference checks with a previous employer and often call the freelancer for a chat or arrange a skype meeting with them.
Freelancers that have been vetted receive the little green 'v' you'll see on their profile pic, like so:
That's all there is to vetting really, it's just another way to verify a freelancer's work.
